Paid content
I figured this is a good time to clarify once for all. I know my friends would tell me that it’s really no one’s business who gets paid and who does not, but I also don’t want information circulating that I get paid for my content from the platforms I post on. Not all Deaf content creators have the same privileges as some do earn and some do not so it’s best not to assume one is the same as the other. I do want to thank the people who have directly asked me. :) Well, the more we know. :)

I just got tagged in one Facebook post with a list of Deaf content creators who get paid. My name is on that list and people commented below that post, tagging me. It’s not just that but also in the past a lot of people have assumed I get paid for posting my personal content and the answer is no. Zero. For specifically my creative, entertaining, non affiliated postings - FB or IG or TikTok or YouTube do not pay me and that’s been like that since I started. For my personal content are all of my creatives I do all the editing, filming, captioning, etc. I do on my own. I wanted to clarify that for everyone regardless if some have assumed that or not. All Deaf content creators are not the same. Some yes and how did they get paid from those platforms? I’m not sure. But also there are some like me who do not get paid from those platforms.
