Pumpkins from poo: using toilet waste safely
after 18 months of use, we empty the 2 ;large receiving bins from our waterless outdoor toilets at the orchard. The waste has broken down aerobically, no smell was noticeable. It was buried and pumpkins will be grown over it. It will be quite safe for salad crops the following year.
