Call of Duty is going on its 21st straight year of releasing a game, and there have been more CODs than years in that time frame. It simply is way too many and it has destroyed the quality of the games, drained all the ideas, drained the fans, hindered our ability to enjoy the new and old games, and overall ruined the franchise. COD's old titles like COD 4, World at War, Modern Warfare 2, Black ops 1, and Black Ops 2 were legendary, but only had one meager year to be enjoyed. Black Ops 2 is now 13 years old, with 14 CODs coming after and Bo3 is the only good one. This franchise is not tired or exhausted, it is dead. And Activision has been parading its body around for over a decade riding off its past success. It has a terminal case of Franchise Fatigue. NOT ENOUGH IDEAS and NOT ENOUGH TIME.
