19 TET - Orange Plane - Microtonal Music
Wanted to make fun little tune to get back into music making, this is it.19-TET, 19 equal temperament, 19-EDO or 19-ET is a tuning system derived from dividing the octave into 19 equal steps. Tuning systems different to 12-TET can have a new and refreshing feel for listeners accustomed to more standard western music.If you want to make your own 19-TET music electronically, using freeware: you can make a tuning file using Scala (.scl file) and then use it to re-tune your favorite sampler like Sforzando for example. Or you can use soft synths that allow a tuning file. Alternatively, there are re-tuner plugins that re-tune midi notes via pitch wheel based on a tuning file.
