Today, I’m going to tell you the story of one of the best and most iconic cars ever made, a virtually immortal masterpiece – the Mercedes-Benz 124 produced in Germany from November 1984 to July 1997 with a total production run of over 2.5 million cars.
This was a very legendary and virtually immortal car. You can still see a lot of them around with a zillion miles on the odometer but still running.
The Mercedes-Benz W124 was a unique car in the car history. It played a huge role in all European auto market of the Eighties and Nineties. An over-engineered car combining practicality with comfort, design with power, affordability with impossible reliability.
The car representing a whole different world, an absolutely different approach to the car-making. The car like never before and never after. The car that is, unfortunately, impossible today.
A true Masterpiece.
