Improvisation on Erik Satie's Gymnopédie Nr. 1
To be honest, I didn't plan on recording anything today but while was on the piano, this melody of Satie's Gymnopédie Nr. 1. came into my head and subsequently into my hands.
But instead of the usual way the song is played, I just started improvising in this mood and after some minutes decided to
record it due to fear of loss.
What you can hear now is the product of joy, grief, sorrow and pain
manifested in this little wonderful structure of Satie's.
As usual, it was recorded with a Zoom H6 on a Kawai Grand piano. The footage you see in this Video is royalty free.
