Peter Criss, who drums for the American hard rock band Kiss, released his first solo album called "Peter Criss." It was one of four solo albums that members of Kiss released on September 18, 1978, but they were still under the Kiss label. The other solo albums were by Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons, and Paul Stanley. The album was produced by Vini Poncia, who later produced Kiss's albums "Dynasty" (1979) and "Unmasked" (1980).
