Any, even the most intricate exercise makes sense if you understand why you are doing it. At the very least, the diversity of the training process is an important component for many. But when they try to do all sorts of crap to the detriment of the "basic" exercises, and also try to modify them in every possible way in order to enhance the effect of "moronism"...
Often, trainers try to contrive all sorts of f*cking exercises in order to strengthen muscle work (in fact, this is just a way to show off), instead of focusing on the simple technique of the basic exercises.
Nobody, blah, knows how to squat, but everyone tries to do the crossover butt lift perfectly, and not just with simple hip abduction, but with “inward heel rotation” in order to strengthen the work of the glutes. In hyperextensions, we round our backs and stand half-crawling, again to strengthen the work of the glutes. And it doesn’t matter that this exercise itself is somewhere in the last places in the “gluteal rating”.
When abducting legs in a simulator, they come up with all sorts of things - and bend the body forward, and do some kind of half-squat during abduction. And it doesn’t matter that the gluteus medius is mainly responsible for hip abduction, but we try in every way to strengthen the work of the gluteus maximus. Yes, the upper fibers of the gluteus maximus also participate in hip abduction, but, mother-mother, why do you need this strengthening of the gluteus maximus if its main function - hip extension, IS NOT PERFORMED?
All sorts of good mornings from the knees in the Smith... Well, fuck, what kind of buttocks are you going to pump up there? You are trying to train the most powerful muscle in the body with some kind of dick with a twist. At the same time, I repeat, we do not know how to do all the most effective exercises, like squats, lunges. It is difficult and complicated!
A lot of exercises that I do not give a damn why they are done. You know that crap, when in a crossover a girl holds a handle from below, squats and stretches her arms forward, and stands up, pulls the handle towards herself. What is that? Are you doing a squat or a deadlift?
Take 257. I have nothing against fancy exercises, but rather for variety. But trying to get creative with some crap, given that you squat with a barbell like CrossFitters on a bottle - half a bump, with wild screams and incomprehensible technique... WHY?
