S2E35 | Tim McRae - WTF!!!
Timothy Brian McRae, born October 10th 1970, hails from a little town called Dillon South Carolina home to Pedro of SOUTH OF THE BORDER FAME. His parents grew up in what was called the Jim Crow South as 1st generation free men & women who maid a living share cropping, moonshining & maid/laundry services.
Timothy is a fourth generation entrepreneur. His first job was at McRae Brothers Inc. At 7 years old, he would sweep, mop and cleaning out the bathrooms, washers and dryers. They taught him the value of a dollar at an early age and he's been chasing it ever since. As far back as he could remember he dreamed about running the family business one day because of the greatness that surrounded me. When he was of age he obtained my CDL TRUCK DRIVER LICENSE and began to deliver heating oil for McRae Brothers. When he wasn't on the oil truck he would be on the phones handling the dispatching. Summer months at McRae Brothers had him switch gears and focus on carpet installation, landscaping, bridge painting and our little takeout foodstand/ice cream shop.
In 2005 he asked for a $1 dollar raise and was rejected. Tim left the family business with his last name and an old oil truck he bought and started "Tim McRae Oil, LLC". For 3 years he competed directly against his dad until he retired in 2008 and closed McRae Brothers Inc for good.
From 2005 until 2018 he ran my oil company until global warming and the lack of newer homes having oil heaters pushed me into another direction that he remembered from my younger years. Tim purchased a food truck custom built out of Florida to supplement my income during the summer months not knowing this would change my life forever. He hit the ground running with a clever name and a passion to succeed WTF? FOOD TRUCK was born which stood for (WHERE'S THE FOOD) which I owned and operated from 2013 to 2018 when I sold the truck to focus on our takeout food stand located at 1543 Parkway Ave. West Trenton NJ 08628 and still run every summer.
He has plans to franchise our brand and merge with our vegan counterpart VBQ PHILLY a plant based company to cater to our plant based customers. He is seeking a location we can own as land ownership in the restaurant business is very important Thru his many WTF? commercial comedy skits and social media platforms our WTF? brand is pretty well know thru out the tristate area and we plan to capitalize on that as well with acting roles and everything entertaining.
