Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will debut in October and will keep Verizon as the exclusive operator of the US. That's the same sales strategy that existed for the two previous generations of Google smartphones; Again you can buy the new unlocked phones directly from Google. The XL-size Pixel 3 will have a notch at the top of its screen. That should not be a surprise if we consider all the changes that Google has made to make Android P more friendly to show cuts. It will offer a screen almost edge to edge and a chin at the bottom. So, take a look at OnePlus 6 or LG G7 and you're probably on the right track as to how the Pixel 3 XL will look. Bloomberg says that the notch of the Pixel 3 XL will not be as wide as the iPhone X, but says it is higher.
The regular Pixel 3 will look like the current Pixel 2, according to the Bloomberg report. Then, expect it to have bevels larger than XL once more. That's disappointing, and it may not seem so impressive next to the rest of the field of first-class smartphones by 2018. It would be really good if both models share the same design, but that has not happened since the original Pixel.
