West Highland Way
In August 2022 I set off to hike the famous West Highland Way again! I backpacked and wild camped the first 3 days (41 miles) until I reached Inverarnan. That day my heart rate peaked at 205bpm, so I reverted to plan B! From here I picked up my tiny camper and carried on the Way driving and hiking.
My walking route ended at Glencoe Ski Resort and I then pottered around the Highlands enjoying the rest of my holiday.
My heart rate was going a bit haywire so I took it easy the last days of the route but I'm intending to come back and carry on backpacking from where I left off in Inverarnan. This was also my last chance to camp at the iconic Beinglas farm campsite. After October 2022, this will be no more.
