Haystacks, Buttermere | Lake District
A stunning walk from Buttermere, up Scarth Gap and onto Haystacks summit. The craggy top has plenty of hidden tarns and rocky features to explore, or just sit and enjoy the view over Buttermere and Crummock water! I came down via Innominate Tarn, Wainwright's final resting place, and Warnscale Fell.
I'd recommend this hike to anyone wanting great views and not too technical a walk (the scrambling isn't scary, I just have tiny legs!).
