Crown Farm Corn Crib (2023 HPM Award Winner)
Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation and contractor G-W Management Services LLC each received a Historic Preservation Month Award from the Historic District Commission on May 24, 2023, for their work on the City-owned Corn Farm Corn Crib. The Corn Crib was an eyesore for many years before the City assumed ownership in 2020 and hired Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation and contractor G-W Management Services LLC to bring it back to life. Thanks to the great work of these contractors, the Corn Crib will be the focal point of the City park being planned for the property. The City received a 2023 Maryland Preservation Award in the category of Outstanding Stewardship by a Governmental Agency because of the project.
