I always wanted to have some nice air to air shots of my plane, in addition to a ton of pictures I already have of her on the ground. It took a bit of coordination, but I managed to assemble a crew for this long desired mission. See full description for more information...
It was the beginning of August 2020, during the midst of a heat wave here in The Netherlands, when me, pilot friends Kevin and Niels and professional air plane spotter Jeffrey got together for this not your average flying mission.
Despite the heat, we got to brief the mission and executed it safely and to all of our satisfaction. Not being professional formation pilots, the result of this air to air photo and video shoot surprised us all in a very positive way! I think it has less to do with our airmanship, but all with the quality of the photographer of our crew... ;)
Be sure to watch the video all the way up to the end, as I'll show you the fruit of this endeavor; all the air to air pictures in HD without watermarks or other distractions.
I hope you'll enjoy this video as much as our crew did making it!

Ever since I received my pilot license, I shared my passion for aviation with a lot (and I mean a lot!) of passengers! Because I enjoy sharing my aviation passion so much, I would like to share it with the rest of the world too! But since taking on 7 billion people as my passenger isn't really practical, sharing my passion via YouTube is... ;)
Where a lot of aviation channels on YouTube focus on General Aviation at the west side of the Atlantic, my channel focuses on Light Sport Aviation in Europe, primarily Holland and Germany. Light Sport Aircraft are also known as 'Microlight Aircraft' or 'Ultralight Aircraft'.
The reason I make these videos is to exchange aviation stories and learn and improve by sharing. And because I love to share!
