Latest openpilot is working on the Bolt once again!
It happened! I squished enough bugs to get steering working again on the Chevy Bolt EV!
True Story, I broke it after this and couldn't figure out what I did wrong till evening 😝
Even better news: it works perfectly well on the Grey Panda! Literally two lines of code!
There is still much to do - longitudinal, figuring out why the Panda is struggling so hard (when it didn't a year ago), braking for non-EV cars, tuning the steering (seemed to work better a year ago), design a new harness or two...
I should be more excited, but I'm still annoyed at myself for breaking it immediately after getting it working...
