Back in 2018, that first trailer was released and it caused a sensation online. The Hytale trailer, without any major publishing company behind it, garnered 60 million views. That's an incredible number, and everyone said the same thing: "This is the end of Minecraft." But now it's 2026, and the so-called "Minecraft killer" game has outgrown its original release. On paper, everything looked perfect: better graphics, RPG elements, an easier modding system compared to Minecraft. But there's something they forget: Minecraft is no longer just an ordinary game, it's a culture. Hytale is definitely not a bad game, in fact, it's one of the new blood the industry needs, but I'm saying it will never be the "game that ends Minecraft" as described in reviews and news sites.
