Author's note: oh my god guys. I've been so swamped with studying for finals that I honestly have not had time to write. I have so much inspiration for my stories but absolutely no time to write. I promise when school gets out my posts will be much more frequent. PROMISE!
Louis's P.O.V.:
I don't understand how Harry puts up with me. Every time he touches me, or even tries to touch me I flinch away or freak out. Anytime I begin to get playful with him I panic that I said something wrong. And most of the time, I can't even look him in the eye. I probably drive him crazy and I don't know why he sticks around me.
Right now we're wandering aimlessly in the park by my house, hand in hand. And right now I don't understand why Harry puts up with me, but I'm damn happy he does.
There are absolutely no people around us, which is odd for a Saturday afternoon. But then again most people don't ditch the path and trump through the grass two feet into the park entrance. Harry's two steps ahead of me and I'm giggling and clinging to his arm, trying to keep myself from tripping. It rained last night, making everything muddy and slippery through the woods.
Harry stops suddenly and my feet hit a patch of mud. Feet giving out under me, a gasp escapes my lips and I cling onto Harry's shirt. But a large hand places itself firmly on my back and steadies me. I smile softly at Harry and he gives me a toothy grin back.
Gorgeous.
Absolutely gorgeous.
I slowly release Harry's shirt from my death grip and slide my hand up his chest. He watches me as I study his neck and jaw, brushing my fingertips over his shoulder as I do so.
"I think we're lost." I finally murmur when Harry's burning eyes become too much.
"I'm okay with that." Harry murmurs back.
I suppress a smile and go back to studying his neck. That vein that pops out when he's stressed or nervous begins to show just slightly more than normal. Do I stress him out? I'm probably making him nervous right now. God, I probably look so creepy, staring at him like this. I need to stop before I scare him off or-
Wow his lips are soft.
I melt into the kiss and press my hands into his chest.
I honestly don't understand why Harry puts up with me, but I'm DAMN glad he does.
Harry's P.O.V.:
"It's gonna rain." I mumble against Louis's lips when I feel several wet drops hit my face and shoulders. Louis doesn't say anything but pulls me closer, silently asking me not to stop. Our kissing becomes open-mouth but no tongue is added. Scaring Louis off is something I try to avoid as much as I can.
This beautiful, beautiful boy doesn't need anything, or anyone, else to be scared of.
Reluctantly, I have to pull away. "It's also getting late Lou. I don't want you to get in trouble."
"They aren't home." Louis replies. "Never are on Fridays."
Louis pushes his lips back on mine and I smile against him. The rain begins to harden until it breaks into what seems like an all-of-the-sudden downpour. We pull apart and look up at the sky. Louis breaks into an intoxicating burst of laughter before grinning up at me.
I've never seen him so happy.
"We're in a freaking movie!" He shouts over the pound of the rain. "Kiss me!" I grin and comply, pressing my lips to his and finally letting things heat up. After several minutes I pull back.
"Come on, you'll get sick." I tug at Louis's arm and pull him back through the woods until we find a path. We laugh and run as the rain only gets harder. We're now soaked to the bone and I know we need to get dry but I never want this to end.
When we finally reach Louis's house he pulls me around the side of the house and backs himself up against the brick, pulling me up against him by his shirt.
"Please," He says. "It's been three weeks. One more kiss."
And how the hell am I supposed to deny him that?
