Samsung RV-510 Power Connector Replacement
A friend had damaged the power connector of her Samsung RV-510 notebook PC. This is a very vulnerable component and easy to snag, especially when working with the PC on one's lap.
The replacement connector was £3.50 from Online Laptop Batteries, who have comprehensive stocks of these components,and provide very fast delivery.
Replacing the broken connector was a bit of a trial, as shown (partly) in this video. I have edited out my less polite comments during the attachment of the keyboard and mousepad connector leads...
