10-50 Vehicle Vs. House: 8-8-20
At approx. 1:20 AM, Carbondale Fire Department was dispatched for a vehicle that had struck a house. Upon arrival, all occupants were out the vehicle. One person involved in the accident was taken to the hospital.
The vehicle was traveling East on Kennicott when it left the road. The vehicle then sideswiped one house, struck and destroyed a tree, then continued through a fence and into a second tree, heavily damaging it. Debris from the vehicle and the second tree struck a second house, causing minor damage.
