Seconds do not meet our quality requirements for home construction, but they are tremendously useful for many purposes related to log homes, such as barns, sheds, well houses, and other applications.
One key distinction in the choice between seconds and first quality house logs is climate conditioned spaces - second quality house logs are outside tolerances we demand for energy efficiency expected of a modern home.
