5.8ghz 600mw TS832 test - 6km
Technical video... I have the TS832 set to channel 34. The signal didn't drop the whole flight except where I moved the helical antenna at around 4km out. Also, I forgot I hade PA fence mode set at 3km so it engaged RTH then. After 6km, I engage RTH. It took a while to turn, I will have to set the roll angle a little higher.
This was flown 32km / 20 miles away from the nearest airport and out of the way of commercial full scale flight paths. Pretty much the middle of nowhere. A fail safe equipped OSD (with return to home capability) was also used for increased safety.
