I modify SUPER8 camera to be digital with a Raspberry Pi
Last year, I went to a flea market in Sydney and found an old Canon 514XL-S camera for $5.
It wasn’t working, but that was perfect—I stripped out most of the internal mechanisms, leaving the trigger, lens, and switches intact so I could modify it with a Raspberry Pi and make it digital.
The hardware includes a Pi Zero 2W and a Camera Module 3, allowing it to record in 4K resolution or at 60fps.
The camera transport me to a weird time where it feels nostalgic, allowing me to capture the growth of my family.
