Reviving Old Rotary Phone Into A Modern Device
This project revives an old rotary phone, retaining the digits as command. This version turn it into a music player and also an AI voice chat.
The reset button is triggered when the phone handle is placed or when the front button is pressed.
The AI chat uses ChatGPT voice model, Whisper API to transcibe and Google TTS to reply.
I need to swap up the speaker and microphone with USB Sound Card as it's easier to install for the Raspberry Pi, also the audio quality is much better.
