Picklist Administration - Get Started with Picklists
Create a custom picklist
You work for a cookie store. You sell lots of macarons. What’s a macaron? A macaron is a cookie that comes in many flavors. So, your customers have a lot of choices.
Add a picklist field to the standard Product object with the following settings:
Object: Product
Field Type: Picklist
Field Label: Macaron Flavor
Field Name: Macaron_Flavor
Make sure Restrict picklist to the values defined in the value set is selected
Include the following picklist Values:
Gingerbread
Strawberry
Chocolate
Raspberry
Pumpkin
Mint
Vanilla
Make this field Visible to all user profiles
