Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo reunite to bring another game to the masochistic-hardcore (masocore) genre of gaming, with this Three Kingdoms-themed adventure taking a lot of inspiration from From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and, of course, their own Nioh games. Wo Long features a streamlined version of Nioh’s weapon and progression system that many fans will find accessible and easier to pick up.
The footage from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was recorded on PC in 4k (3840x2160) while the footage from Nioh 2 and Sekiro were recorded on the PS4 versions, running on PS5 at 1440p.
The Stranger of Paradise footage was recorded using the PS5 version on PS5 at 1440p.
