Cell-DEVS for Modeling Epidemics: Dengue Example: Dengue
Modeling Epidemiology Using Cell-DEVS: We use the spread of Dengue, a mosquito-borne disease, as an example for modeling viral spread using Cell-DEVS. We use two 30 X 30 lattice layers where the human population resides on the top layer, whereas the mosquito population is in the bottom layer. The videos show the effect of considering vaccination and temperature on the spread of the virus.
