Designing a New Space Toilet For NASA to take to the moon in 2024. 3D Model Creation in Creo Parametric I am using PTC Creo Parametric to model all the 3D models for the NASA Space Toilet. In the design process I brainstorm all possible ideas, sort them out keeping the most viable design options. Once I have the space toilet designs that will work best, I begin the sketches on paper to help visualize how they will look. Then it is time to make some 3D models in PTC Creo Parametric.
In this video I model some key features for the NASA Space Toilet. This is not a tutorial on how to use Creo, but if you are interested in seeing some tutorials, leave some requests in the comments for me.
Submission for the HeroX Lunar Loo Challenge is due in 11 days. All the Modeling is Complete, the submission paperwork is complete and it is all turned in. Lets hope for the best. After the deadline for submission I will make a video that shows the Lunar Space Toilet for NASA in detail and I will explain everything in detail such as how it is expected to work and why I made the design decisions I did.
As this project comes to an end, another will begin. Crowdsourcing is a great way to join in some design challenges. If you see any that would be fun, put them in the comments for me!
