We got SCAMMED in Bangkok - Thailand Vlog 4
We fell for the most famous Thai scam... It wasn't Buddha day, It wasn't government day, only take advantage of the ignorant tourist day. It all starts with a good Samaritan who lends a helping hand. He informed us that it was Buddha day and that we would get free entry to the temples and great deals on all Thai products. He then negotiated a great price for a Tuk Tuk (how nice of him) to take us around town. The temples we were taken to were in fact free, but they always are. Then we were driven to the Thai factory AKA a suit store where they just tried to sell us a suit. Then they finished it off by trying to sell us an overpriced river tour. Luckily for us we didn't spend any money on the items they were trying to sell us so it just costed us some time and embarrassment. The rest of the day was spent visiting the temples that we had originally planned to and going back and forth across the river trying to find the ladyboy show (all of which is in the next episode).
