This is invaluable for a I-V progression in any key. Simply move one step clockwise around The Circle and you have your next Root note. Not only that, but the new Root will be a common tone between the two chords.
If you can identify the fifth within a ‘one’ chord voicing, it is the anchor around which you pivot to form the ‘five’ chord.
