Oh I really can´t stand all the holes in a knife.. so what to do? Cover them up with Mother of Pearl and get rid of them! :-)
But to be honest, it was a way way more time consuming process than first expecting and in the end I had to modify and customize some tools and for sure I broke some nice carbide round burs too.. but when first decided to get it in there, I´ll get it in. But the one tool that was really priceless was the Ceramic Super Stones from ArtCo Tools: https://www.artcotools.com/products/m...
I really learned a lot and I still have the bolster to make.. but I´ll expect it to go a lot faster, but we´ll see. Anyway it´s a very tidy process and I have to be extremely accurate.. but fun for sure :-)
The only sad thing, I doubt anyone will ever cover for the time spent on a Spyderco knife.. but at least I´ll have a custom knife...
