I WAS WRONG! My TRUE 2026 language goals
I was wrong.
For years, I was following hyperpolyglot goals - learning as many languages as possible, as fast as possible. It looked so impressive but it wasn’t real for me. In this video, I finally share my TRUE 2026 language goals - realistic, strategic, and focused on real fluency. I’m dividing my 10 languages into 3 clear stages:
Core languages (Main focus):
English & Mandarin Chinese
These are my top priorities because they're worldwide spoken and clearly align with my future goals. I'm striving for long-term mastery and fluency in both languages.
Growing languages:
German & Hindi
These two languages are very powerful in the world, too. Germany is Europe's leading economy and many of people are learning it while Hindi is the main language of the fastest-growing economy in the world - India. I already have some base, so I’ll continue improving them consistently and strategically.
Languages for maintenance:
The remaining languages
I’ll maintain them with 10–20 minutes per day to keep them at a good level without burning out.
Why I changed my mindset? I realized that some goals are often unrealistic and not sustainable for me. Language learning is something bigger, deeper, and more meaningful than just “how many languages do you speak?”
