Hi. In this video we look at one of the flight instruments in an aircraft: the Attitude Indicator.
The video shows the working of a traditional attitude indicator, which has a gyroscope installed in it. We see the construction of a gyroscope and the principles of a gyroscope such as rigidity in space and precession.
We see how these principles are applied in an attitude indicator and how the indicator provides pitch and bank angle indications against the artificial horizon.
