How To Find The Right Online Business.
Hi, there Stacy Serrano here the life shifter.
Today we're going to be going over How To Find The Right Online Business.
I constantly get emails and messages in regards to people asking me
if I can help them find the right online business and the truth is, I can't.
I can give you guidelines and maybe a roadmap to help you find the right business for you but the truth is there's no one-size-fits-all online business for everyone.
What's right for me might not be right for you.
Here's the first thing you should look for in an online business:
You want to make sure, whatever you're selling whether it be a
service or a product that it aligns with your core values.
Let me give you a good example of this.
For example, I constantly get messaged and pitched on
different makeup businesses and a lot of them are phenomenal but me selling makeup that wouldn't align with my core values.
I believe in using whatever I'm selling, whether it be a service or product. If I'm going to try to sell you on it or have you use it I
should be using that myself. So when it comes to makeup selling it won't work.
Why?
Because the extent of my makeup use is lip gloss. I don't wear makeup so if I would be pitching that with no integrity knowing that I'm telling you it's the best makeup in the world yet I don't
even wear it.
Here's another example:
Let's just say you were selling electricity and you're selling one company but you're using another because you know it's the rates are cheaper.
No integrity, because you're telling someone to use this service, it's the best, it's the cheapest, yet you're using something else.
Make sure the way it's being marketed is also something that aligns with your core values because there's a lot of
companies out there that do a lot of like to say shady things to market there products/services.
Make sure you know that early on so you don't waste any time.
The next thing you want to do is you want to make sure that you have a mentor in that business.
It's perfectly fine to have a mentor outside of the business as well but you definitely want to have a mentor inside the online business that you plan to launch.
I'll tell you why...
Every single online business has its own obstacles.
Every product, every service, all have their own obstacles in either
pitching them/marketing them.
You need the right mentor to help you navigate through these things. If not you're going to spend the next two
to four years just falling a million times and having to pick yourself back up when you could have had the right mentor that
would have just steered you clear of all that.
The last thing you want to have in place is a marketing system.
A training system, this is one thing I can't stress enough.
It's so crucial to your success in any online business.
If there is no training in place, if there is no marketing in place, then I'm telling you right now you're really going to struggle.
It's all about marketing your business if you really want to see success.
I don't care how good the product is, I don't care how good the service is... if you don't have people to talk to and yes friends and family are great but you have but so many of them before you need to start reaching out to
new people.
If you don't know how to do that that's going to be a problem.
If you've been online for years and you're a master at marketing then maybe that last one is not that important to you
but if you're what most consider, newbies then I would make sure that there is some sort of system in place.
