MOMA 2016 Arcade Auction Bloomington MN
2016 Annual MOMA Arcade Auction. Held in Bloomington Minnesota. November 15th. Up until 2015 this was a live bid auction. A great place to hang out with friends and meet people of the arcade hobby. Last two years have been online bidding and have jacked the prices up significantly. How ever this year seemed to have a lot to offer for decent sit down games and some uprights. Not the usual over sized show case cabs for low prices and crappy redeption games. Couple of rare games this year was a Return Of The Jedi thst had yolk issues that sold for $1000. And a Baby Pacman that sold for a reasonable price. I over paid on a dedicated Area 51 that had a junk monitor and hard drive north of $300, but I wanted the Cabinet bad enough and had spare parts to fix it. Then again the upside to the online bidding is helping to get more people into the hobby and that is a bonus but unfortunately it has its price in your wallet when you bid on items.
