MOMA 2020 Arcade Auction Coon Rapids Minnesota 10/14/20
Yearly arcade and coin op auction. Some decent prices considering the times and economy. The big down side of this auction is it would be nice to preview and finish bidding preferably the same day. It really sucks to have to drive almost 2 hours one way to look at the stuff just to see if it is worth bidding more on. Then driving 2 hours back to bid in a few hours. Only to return the next day to pay for your winnings and take it home. The old days of the MOMA auction was better. Come by on a Saturday. Look at everything, shoot the shit with your buddys. Bid with a live auctioneer and pay for your stuff and go if you didn't want to stick around until the end. And if you did there were those few people who'd bid but didn't pay, so they would reauction the stuff and you'd get it for practically nothing. This is a good auction if you live in the Twin Cities area. But it sucks for the people who have to drive a ways and don't want to or can't stay in a hotel room overnight. I miss the old MOMA days.
