Environment Matters - Workshop for Citizen Scientists
A group of volunteers met earlier this week along Piney Creek in Raleigh County to learn about the science behind stream monitoring. These citizen scientists learned proper protocols for gathering, recording, and sharing data with the DEP. Information in the database helps the agency monitor stream health in watershed across the state.
