Willamette Week journalists invited Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate to an endorsement interview. One, Mark Callahan, objected to a reporter writing "blah blah blah" during another candidate's overly long answer, and decided to tell the reporter to be more respectful and copy down what she was saying -- after all, reporters should be stenographers, not exercise judgment. And then things went downhill from there.
