THINGS TO REMEMBER IN WATER CURING OF CONCRETE
Curing is the most neglected activity in the construction industry. What should be the quality of water required to do the curing of concrete? Can we use sea water or any available water for curing of concrete? Does this have any impact on the properties of concrete is what is being tried to explain in this module. What will happen if one uses the sea water for curing of concrete? What will happen if the temperature of the water used for curing is not maintained at 27+2 or -2. What are the different modes of water curing possible and their suitability based on the type of structure like beam, slab or column and wall.
