Mitchell Wood - We've Got Your Back
Mitchell Wood first came to WNH as a travel nurse, then made the decision to join our team full-time in 2023. He works in our emergency department, and says one of his favorite things about WNH is the teamwork and support provided not only by his team in the ED, but by colleagues throughout the facility.
"We all work together to accommodate one goal and that's to take care of our town and to give back to the community. In a smaller hospital like this, anytime any of us are starting to kind of feel overwhelmed, we have people from other departments who will come down to give some relief, help take patients, let me even go take a walk outside, things you're not going to see in a big hospital. We take care of one another and have each other's backs here."
