About Rocks: Physical Geography in Interaction with Society
One of the greatest challenges in science lies in translating acquired knowledge into accessible language for wider audiences, and also in finding ways to make this information comprehensive. In this case, the program "Sobre Rochas" (About Rocks), broadcast on GloboSat, allowed geography, and even more so physical geography, to reach different audiences. In this presentation, Marcelo Motta, a professor at PUC-RJ, will discuss how the program achieved these objectives.
