With a very nice USB plug and braided cable, this 1Mii USB Sound Card also gives you fingertip controls for headset volume and microphone volume. There's also a microphone mute button, as well as a built-in 7.1 Surround Sound option.
It plugs in USB and accepts the TRRS plug from a standard headset. It affords all of the functionality of your laptop's jack, but provides you with fingertip control, and also gives you the 7.1 surround sound option. In the event your laptop's jack is broken, instead of paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars to have it fixed, you can use this to give you all of the functionality you used to have, plus a lot more.
