"The Dispossessed" by Ursula K. Le Guin | Book Discourse
Socialism, communism, anarchism... Many think a society run under such sociopolitical conditions is impossible. Why? The common answer are past failed socialist states. But such examples do not consider the oppressive global capitalist influences that contribute largely to their failure. Consider an anarchist communist society truly isolated from capitalism and statehood. What limitations would exist in such a society and how would they manifest? Let's discuss.
