As competitors and innovators took a look at Texas Instruments monopoly, a lot of red flags began to appear, In one example, a competitor of Texas Instruments - Casio- produces calculators that have identical or significantly more advanced technology for a steep price difference, only $50 compared to TI’s $100 retail price tag.
