1. Excessive attention to biceps
How to identify a newbie in the gym? The first thing he does is pump up his biceps. Standing, sitting, lying down, a dozen different exercises.
2. Excessive cheating and EGO
I have nothing against cheating, BUT... until you have learned to do the exercises with normal technique, you don't need these antics. Trying to pump up "everything at once" with one exercise, you don't train anything specific.
3. Excessive attention to sports nutrition
You go into the locker room, and there is a crowd of "schoolchildren" mixing proteins, BCAAs, pre-workouts, and they do it as if they are doing something illegal.
4. Do the base to failure
Why do you do deadlifts? Well, it's the base... I'm not even talking about technique, but what is the base for?
5. Excessive number of exercises for one muscle group
Your task is not to kill the muscle during training, but to give it the necessary load, and we are talking about any muscle groups. More is not always better!
6. Neglecting leg training
We all know that the hardest thing to train is LEGS. As a rule, if a person cannot tolerate pain and fatigue when training legs (squats, lunges, etc.), it is unlikely that he will be able to give the necessary load to the upper body.
7. Using training programs of famous athletes
You have your own genetics, training experience, anthropometry and other things, the program needs to be tailored to your data.
8. The right clothes and equipment
Here, as a rule, there are two extremes. Either a guy comes to the gym in a torn T-shirt, tights from which the testicle is falling out, and flip-flops, or he is a knight in armor: leggings under shorts, a rashguard under a T-shirt, weightlifting shoes on the legs, knee pads, elbow pads, a weightlifting belt, wrists wrapped in bandages - now he is ready to pump up the biceps.
9. Hygiene
Everyone sweats in the gym, this is normal! But why can't you wash your clothes after training, without leaving them to marinate in a sports bag?
10. Disrespect for others
You shouldn't train your biceps in a squat rack, at least if there are a lot of people in the gym. Don't do the exercise right next to the dumbbell rack, grab it and move away. Don't use several machines during rush hour. Don't use a bench/machine without a towel, no one likes to sit in your sweat puddle.
