How to Solve Solubility Curve Problems (with Demonstration!)

In this video we go over how to solve solubility curve problems by referencing solubility curve graphs and setting up proportions. I think these are pretty fun and straight forward to do, so I wanted to make the video a little more interesting with the solubility demonstrations. Let me know if those helped you understand/remember the relationship between heat and solubility of solids.

A really important take-home point is that an increase in temperature always shifts equilibrium to favor an endothermic process. This is why solids increase in solubility as temperature increases and gases decrease in solubility with increasing temperature. I'd store that information away in case you ever get an open response question on solubility curves.
