How to Calculate Rate Constant (k) of Reaction Rates

In this video we go over the next variable in reaction rates, solving for the rate constant, or "k". If k isn't the first variable you're solving for, these can kind of be plug-and-chug problems but a cool feature of them is being able to double check your answers.

As mentioned, don't be too worried if your double-checked answer is a little off from your original answer- in most cases it should be. This is because if your rate orders (first, second, third, etc.) were derived via any form of approximation or rounding, this will equate to whatever degree of difference between your first answer and your optional second one. You'll catch an error you might have made if your second answer is significantly different from your first one.
