Just a timelapse demo of a simple technique, so no audio.
Maya 2015 has a new flat lighting mode which lets you assign different colored materials to each object for quick Photoshop mask selection. You can also export rim lights, highlights and whatever you want in different render files as long as they are captured from the same camera angle.
This is helpful if you have a 3D basemesh and want to explore the final design in 2D before committing hours to sculpting/texturing. By rendering out masks and lights, it saves a lot of time and keeps everything cleaner.
