Firebird Floor Pan Surgery: Surgery Without Hitting an Artery!
The '76 Firebird restoration hits the "point of no return" in Episode 11! Today, we are finally cutting out the rot and prepping for the new AMD (Auto Metal Direct) floor pans. If you’ve ever wanted to see what 40+ years of Huntington Beach moisture does to a floorboard, this is it.

The Big Cut: Cutting out the rusted passenger and driver-side floors. We’re doing "surgery" to save as much original metal as possible while ensuring a solid foundation for the new panels.
The Pine-Sol Carb Trick: Can a 4:1 mix of Pine-Sol and water really deep-clean a Rochester Quadrajet? I’m soaking the main body and parts to see if we can dissolve decades of varnish without the harsh chemicals.
Brake System Refresh: Swapping out the snapped parking brake cable and diving into the rear drum assembly.
Vacuum & Fuel Plumbing: Finalizing the fuel line routing and tracing the vacuum lines for the 350 V8 and HVAC system.
