Zebs is a drop in centre for young people based in Truro, Cornwall. In our music space we aim to make music making accessible to all young people. Young people are encouraged to develop skills and creativity with the support of experienced musicians/youth workers and other young people. Throughout the week various sessions are provided eg vocal coaching, instrument tuition, band work, recording, etc All participants, regardless of ability, are encouraged.
This first release on Zebs Records features young people that have been involved with Zebs since the music space was built in 2004. Some were playing before this, others have picked up instruments for the first time in the last eighteen months. All tracks (bar one) are original compositions.
