How to Set Up the Google Home

We love the simplicity and ease of setting up the Google Home, plus it's the "smartest" of the smart hubs we tested. Here are the steps to setup:
Step 1: Plug it in
Step 2: Install the “Google Home” app onto your phone or tablet. If you have an Apple device, download the “Google Assistant” app to set up more features
Step 3: Use your Google account login info (or create a new user ID) to log in
Step 4: Go to the home screen. Tap "Add", "Set up device", "Set up new devices", "Next". The Google Home will scan for nearby devices that are plugged in
Step 5: Select the room you want to use your speaker in
Step 6: Select your Wi-Fi network, type in the password, and hit Connect.
DONE!
You can ask the Google Home to play music, ask about the weather, traffic, create and read calendar events, read the news, and create reminders and lists.
Google keeps track of your activity in the Google Home app too, so you can go back and revisit the things you’ve asked.
